BB-8 Enhanced JOG BOX
After the success of NJB project my team was asked by corporate to deliver a next generation wireless experience for the Jog Box interaction. BB8 is a revolutionary product currently in development and scheduled for a release in 2020. What makes BB8 special is not only the design and UX but mostly the use of the Touch Interface to completely replace the traditional way our current users interact with their equipment. We are working on replacing the screen, keyboard and mouse with an intuitive, customizable experience that will not only improve the machine control but will also connect the customer to a wider ecosystem to enable them to reduce friction in their interaction with our equipment and even more importantly interaction with our support structure. BB8 is being build on a Windows 10 platform utilizing UWP (Universal Windows Platform) to allow porting of most Hexagon Application to run on a new interactivity platform.
